1. Scope
This Policy explains how PepTribe Medical Pty Ltd ("PepTribe") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information, including sensitive health information, in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
- Identity and contact information (name, date of birth, address)
- Health and medical history (provided during clinical intake)
- Consultation records and treating-doctor notes
- Payment and billing information
- Technical data (IP address, device, browser)
3. How we use it
- To facilitate clinical consultations with your treating doctor
- To coordinate dispensing and shipping with Australian pharmacies
- To meet our regulatory and record-keeping obligations
- To improve and secure the Platform
We will never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Where it's stored
Patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and hosted in Australian data centres. Access is strictly role-based and audited.
5. Your rights
Under the APPs you have the right to access and correct the personal information we hold about you. You may also request deletion, subject to our regulatory record-keeping obligations as a healthcare provider.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use a limited set of cookies for authentication, security, and anonymous traffic analytics. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Data breaches
We comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. If a breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the OAIC and affected individuals as required.
